ABOUT US
Physics, taught the way engineers actually use it.
Physics Spark Center is a 1-on-1 home tuition service in Ipoh for SPM and IGCSE Physics students. We were founded on one belief: students don't fail Physics because it is too hard — they fail because it was taught as a list of formulas to memorise instead of a description of the world in front of them.

Meet Your Tutor
Mr. Thomas graduated from the University of Southampton (UK) with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (MEng). He has been a private tutor since 2021, teaching IGCSE Physics to Year 10 and Year 11 students at a local international school.
His engineering background lets him strip away the confusion of abstract Physics concepts by showing how they behave in the real world — with physical props, live experiments and demonstrations run inside the lesson, not described on a whiteboard.
His track record includes taking students from a failing grade ('F') to an 'A*' in under 12 months, by rebuilding their foundation from the ground up rather than drilling past papers over a shaky base.
Our Specialized Programs & Approach
Four things make a Spark Center lesson different from standard group tuition.
01
Live Demos
Unlike standard tuition that relies heavily on rote memorization, Mr. Thomas employs an 'Engineer's Approach' to learning. He uses physical props and live experiments to strip away the confusion of complex topics like electricity and forces.
03
Home to Home Service — Ipoh
Home-to-home service covers key residential areas in Ipoh including Meru, Klebang, Ipoh Garden, Pasir Putih and Botani, so students keep their revision time instead of spending it commuting.
02
1-on-1 Tutoring
Exclusive, one-on-one mentorship that adapts strictly to your child's learning speed. 100% of the lesson time goes to your child's specific gaps — not the average of a group.
04
Strategic Exam Preparation
Students are trained to think like examiners — keyword precision and the logical structuring of answers. By dissecting past papers, they walk into the exam with a proven strategy to maximise marks.
